The ratio in Ryan's science class is 12:10 (girls:boys) which can be simplified to 6:5. In Ryan's
orchestra group there is a ration of 22:20 which can be simplified to 11:10
11:10 and 6:5 are not the same, therefore the ratio is not equivalent.
