Describe the energy of a bowling ball as it rolls towards and hits a bowling pin, (Include energy, work, and power).

Answer:

when you through the bowling ball it’s potential energy decreases and turns into kinetic energy. While the ball is rolling toward the pins it creates thermal energy. When it hits the pins it creates potential energy again as it clashes with the bowling pins.

all it really is is velocity.
When it hits the pin, momentum is conserved and the pin is sent flying. The ball continues to roll with reduced kinetic energy.
