Correct answer: C) Water is not a very good solvent

Water is transparent, odourless, tasteless, and a colourless chemical substance which is found most abundantly found on the earth's surface in oceans, lakes and inside the body fluid of living organism.

Water is capable of dissolving different variety of substances in to them. Hence, called as universal solvent. It can dissolve more substances as compare to any other liquid.

Chemically it is a polar molecule which carry partially negative and positive charge and can dissolve polar molecules in it.
