The poet suggests The Lady Of Sharlot is an artist when in the second part of the poem we read ..."There she weaves by night and day

A magic web with colours gay. ..."She forms some kind of fabric which is magic as we also read in ...."But in her web she still delights

To weave the mirror's magic sights..."Alone in her tower, she weaves. She seems to be the same kind of artist who needs to be alone and self absorbed to work.
