During the 1920s (1918-1929), after the World War I, is the age when the role ofwomen had changed from passive to active in society. Women were much more thanjust looking after their children and doing housework at home. They began towork outside and attend school. They had become more independent bothfinancially and literally. Therefore the employment pattern had changed andwomen had become increasingly important.
