Poverty is a state wherein a person lacks money or material things. The impact that poverty has on individuals, society and the government is immense because poverty is one of the main problems that the world is facing now.
On Individuals
Poverty affects individuals in terms of hunger, thirst, illness. Because of poverty, one does not have money to afford food, water or medicines, which may lead to the latter.
On Society and Government
Poverty is passed from one generation to the next. It is a vicious cycle. Because of poverty, parents are unable to send their children to school. Uneducated children causes unemployment and they, too, will not be able to send their future children to school.
Because of poverty, the society has poor housing, hunger, and diseases will rise due to unhealthy and unclean environments.
