Command economies and/or socialist economies benefit their citizens theoretically by ensuring that nobody is poor or without basic needs of living, although this is not always the case.

In China, there is less crime because they are a socialist/communist country and are controlled by every more they have. so the less opportunity they have to do something they shouldn't, it doesn't happen.
