Carbon is a small element which comes with the other elements which forms various biomolecules. Carbon bonds with hydrogen and oxygen to form the lipids and carbohydrates. It combines with the hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen and sometimes sulfur to form the proteins. It combines with hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and phosphorous atoms to form nucleic acids.
