the person could walk 4.8 miles becuase 1.5 plus 1.5 is 3 and thats 3 hours so 2.4 plus 2.4 is 4.8

1.5 hours is half of 3
so 1.5+1.5=3 and 2.4+2.4=4.8
That person can walk 4.8 miles in 3 hours
