How is lighting for film different from lighting for a theatrical production

Answer:

Lighting for a theatrical production uses all angles and creates the right lighting for all aspects of the performance that the director wants to be visualized. Film is easier with a still image .Theatrical production is all look in one direction and the light is pointing towards the stage.
