1. If the total number of chromosomes in male organisms is 40 then the total number of chromosome in the female species is also 40 chromosomes.

2. The homologous pairs of chromosomes the male organism has is 20 homologous.

3. The number of chromosomes which will be in the egg will be half of the chromosome. That is the egg will have 20 chromosomes.

4. The total number of chromosomes the offspring will have is 40 chromosomes.

5. The number of homologous pairs of chromosomes will the offspring will be 20 homologous.
