First year: 8*1/6=1.333
The second year: 8*.375=3

Second year - first year = tree growth during the second year

3 - 1.333 = 1.666

8/6=1.3
8+1.3=9.33 which is year one
8/100=0.08
0.08x37.5=3
so add 3+9.3=12.33
the tree is 12 ft and 4 inches
