Why are injections given to cattle

Mostly to keep them from getting sick or getting any infections because what ever sickness other animals might have its best to give injections to keep them from getting what ever the other animal has. And sometimes it might also be to improve health, control disease or increase productivity. If they give it an injection it might be for a paracitic reason to.
