1/2 X 2/3 is 1/3. When multiplying fractions, you multiply them straight across. By that, I mean:

.50 times 66.6 equals 33.3. I know this because when multiplying by .50, you are actually dividing the other number by two, or cutting it in half. Half of 66.6 is 33.3. So, .50 multiplied by 66.6 equals 33.3
