$50.71 I think. You take 50 and divide it by 7 which gives you 7.142857 repeating then you move the decimal point to the right 2 spots to make it 714. and round it to 71 cents.

7% = 0.07
$50 * 0.07 = 3.5
$50 + $3.5 = $53.5
total cost of a pair of jeans: $53.5
