the determinant of (u, v) = 7*8-4*10= 56-40 = 16, it is not 0, so u and v are not parallel, the scalar product of (u, v)=8*10+7*4=80+28=108, it is not 0, u and v are not orthogonal, so the answer is neither parallel nor orthogonal
