In the Chinese calendar each year has an animal as a symbol there are 12 animals it was the year of the snake in 2001 and will be again in 2013 the year 2005 was the year of the rooster the next year of the rooster will be 2017 make a number sequence that shows the pattern for the next five years of the rooster

2017 -> 2029, 2041, 2053, 2065, 2077?

keep adding 12 to get the next time it is the year of the rooster.
