Tienes frío? Instructor follows up with another ‘tener’ question - involving another subject (¿Tienen tus padres sueño?). Why the different forms of ‘tener’ in the responses? How do these ‘tener’ phrases compare to the way we express the same ideas in English?

Tener frío means being cold. In English we say They are cold, Im cold, You are cold. I have happiness
