Effective responses are USEFUL.
In communication, response refers to the answer that one gets as a result of a piece of communication that one has passed on earlier. An effective response can only be produced only when one has effectively listen to the communication that was passed across and one has correctly deduced the major information in the communication. Effectively listening usually takes note of both verbal and non verbal aspects of communication. An effective response is always useful to the initiator of the communication process.
