Who led the colony of jamestown, and what three things did he do to help the colonists surrvie

John Smith led the colony of Jamestown. He had experience from other wars and he knew how protect himself, he made all of the colonists do work which gave them food and tools, and John Smith also befriended the natives, Powhatan and Pocahontas, which helped them get supplies and there were no wars between them.

I just learned about Jamestown and all of the colonies last month and that was my favorite unit.
