It's B. Because in the north, you have books like Utopia, and the Praise of Folly. Whereas in Italy, you have people in awe at Greek, and Roman society, and inspired by the philosophers of their era, and want to restart a golden age of knowledge. Like Leonardo da Vinci, making both art, and marvelous inventions. Hope this helped =3
