Multiplication facts help you divide because they are just reverse division facts. Ex. 3 x 6 = 18 and 18 / 6 = 3 (FYI: the / symbol can be used in place of the division sign)

You take the answer of the multiplication facts and divide by one of the factors and you get the other factor.
