A rectangle is 3 times as long as it is wide. the perimeter is 60 cm. find the dimensions of the rectangle.round to the nearest tenth if necessary.

60 divided by 8 =7.5 (The four sides of a square and then merely add two additional lengths to two sides) Now 7.5 times 3= 22.5 which gives two sides at
22.5cm and two sides at 7.5cm total is 60cm
