I think is by trying to keep calm and sometimes it is good to consult your friend if you can't handle the situation yourself

Several ways : make time for the things you enjoy,  learn how to relax, figure out what's causing the stress and work towards a positive solution, exercise is a great way to stimulate those good endorphin's, and try to socialize with people you LIKE being around.
