How did southerners view those who help Radical Republicans?

They thought badly of them and that is only for starters. They thought they were white people that they were crazy. The Radical Republicans did not want slavery and the people of the south were pro for slavery. They did not want that because it meant that plantations would be no longer in use and the people would now be working in factories. Since their economy was based off of the plantations, they wanted to save it at whatever cost. They did not like the Radical Republicans at all.
