If f(x)=2x^3-9x^2-5x find f(2a)

I think you just substitute 2a for x in the equation.

f(2a) = 2(2a)^3 - 9 (2a)^2 -5(2a)
Simplify:
f(2a) = 16a^3 - 36a^2 - 10a
