At first there were the Clovis group. They came to North America from Asia. Then the Maya and the Aztec came to Mexico, starting a government with a complex social structure and religion. Each of these groups had their own distinct culture and the more groups showed up, the more different cultures we had in North America. Eventually, those groups became many other groups, each with its own set of language, religion and cultural behavior.

Native Americans in North America established themselves in 10 separate culture areas: the Arctic, the Subarctic, the Northeast, the Southeast, the Plains, the Southwest, the Great Basin, California, the Northwest Coast and the Plateau. They established themselves according to the type of landscape or terrain and weather they have.
