Answer:

The analogy between the photosynthesis and cellular respiration is that the ingredients are joined together to form carbohydrates in case of photosynthesis. Oxygen is released during this process.

The carbohydrates are broken down into carbon dioxide and water. Both of the process takes place in the plant cell. But in case of animals only cellular respiration takes place. Oxygen is used during this process.

The process of cellular respiration is just opposite of the photosynthesis.
