Greek and Roman legacies to the modern world include contributions to modern law and government. Briefly describe how modern law and government have been influenced by classical Greece and Rome. Include at least two examples from the Greeks and two examples from the Romans.

Sorry if the question is long, I don't quite know how to answer it.

Greek and Roman legacies can be seen throughout the world because a lot of our legal system which is currently in use is partially based on the ideas of old Roman and Greek legacies which were in use 2000 to 3000 years ago. This is impressive when you think about it. Two examples from Greece are the concept of Democracy and direct democracy, with examples from the Romans can be picked if you look at the Roman law in use.
