Water is the most important component of life. It is available in various forms on earth. The marine water and freshwater are the two sources that are available on earth. The distribution of water is as follows. Approximately over 68 percent of fresh water is found in glaciers and icecaps. Over 30% is found in the form of groundwater. Only 0.3 % of fresh water is available in lakes, rivers, and swamps which can be used by human population.
