The answer is A because D would be contradictory to your question, B only works if it's out of the water, and C makes no sense. So yeah, A they swim into cooler water. Hope this helps!

The correct answer is (A) swimming into cooler water

When the temperature of the water is not suitable for the fishes they move to the cooler or warmer region of the water to maintain their body temperature. In this case the when the body of fish is warm they will go to the region having cooler water. The water that lies in the bottom is cooler as compared to the upper layer that is exposed to the sunlight, the fishes move to the region having cooler water to control their body temperature.
