The answer is Lake Baikal (Ozero Bajkal) which is located in the southern part of eastern Siberia, Russia. It is an oldest, amazing 20-25 million years old, as well as deepest, measuring 5315 feet at its deepest point, lake in the world, it contains about 5,500 cubic miles of fresh water which means it is also the world’s largest freshwater lake by volume.
