expanding continually outwards.

basically, if a light moves to the red end, the light wave's wavelength is bigger. if the wavelength increases, the light source must be going further than us.


therefore the universe is continually expanding outwards


this also means it all started in one tiny point

must have exploded

proves the big bang theory
