there r 2 ways to do this....percent to decimal
(1) u can divide by 100.....289/100 = 2.89
(2) u can move the decimal 2 spaces to the left....2.89
just so u know ... decimal to percent
(1) multiply by 100
(2) move decimal 2 spaces to right
