You just have to solve this system of equations; the point of intersection will be (x,y).
y=4x-2
x+y=3
We can solve this system by substitution method.
x+(4x-2)=3
5x-2=3
5x=3+2
5x=5
x=5/5
x=1

y=4x-2
y=4(1)-2=4-2=2,

The point of intersection would be (1,2)
