-5 + 7g = 3g + 9

Subtract 3g to both sides
-5 +7g -3g =3g + 9 - 3g

Simplify
-5 + 4g = 9

Add 5 to both sides
-5 +4g + 5 = 9 + 5

Simplify
4g = 14

Divide both sides by 4
4g/4 = 14/4

Simplify
g = 3.5

-5 + 7g = 3g + 9 find the value of g?
