Why is there so much carbon is the human body?

carbon is the main building block to most cells. It helps with cellular resperation by which your body releases energy stored in glucose and the glucose compound is composed of carbon,hydrogen and oxygen. Carbon makes up 18% of the human body. Sugars in the body like glucose hold carbon elements.

That is because carbon builds into everything as it has a great aptitude for forming bonds with other elements. It can create bonds and share electrons better than other atoms because of its properties.
