In homeostasis, physiological processes are maintained to establish a stable environment in the body by maintaining equilibrium between the interdependent processes and elements. The accurate level of calcium with in the body assures sufficient amount of energy to carry out all bodily functions. Reduced calcium level will reduce the energy level and thus the bodily functions get hampered.

The characteristic of life that the man is being affected by is that living things require energy. So, if a person has very low levels of calcium, that means that the person doesn't have enough energy at all to maintain everyday bodily functions such as even being alive. If there is no energy in a human, he will ultimately die, so make sure to have enough calcium in your body!
