What is the role of a aboriginal elder?

Well, in many cultures Elders were viewed as wise. The roles of elders was that the people came to them when they needed advice on the society. The elders would provide them with the right solution. People did this because the elders where rise. They knew what to do because they had most likely seen it happen before.
