Pretty Sure it is 3 laps. because if it is 4 laps = 1 mile. then 1/4 = 1 lap 2/4= 2 laps 3/4 = 3 laps and then 4/4 = 4 laps = 1 mile.

Hope this helps :)

Answer:

Unit rates defined as the rates are expressed as the quantity 1 such as 3 miles per second or 5 kilometers per hour.

Given the statement: Four laps around the trail is a distance of 1 mile.

\text{Unit rate per mile} = \frac{\text{Number of laps}}{\text{Number of miles}}

substitute the given values we have;

\text{Unit rate per mile} = (4)/(1) = 4 laps

We have to find the how many laps does it take to walk 3/4 of a mile

By definition of unit rate:

Number of laps =
\text{Unit rate per mile} * (3)/(4)

=
4 * (3)/(4) = 3

Therefore, 3 laps does it take to walk 3/4 of a mile.
