RSV has coordinates R(2,1), S(3,2), and V(2,6). A translation maps point R TO R' at (-4,8). What are the coordinates of s' for this translation?

S' = (-3, 9) since the translation is (-6, 7).

we know that

The translation R to R' is

R(2,1)-------> R'(-4,8)

so

the rule of the translation is

(x,y)-------> (x-6,y+7)

that means

The translation is
6 units to the left and
7 units up

Find the coordinates of S'

Applying the rule of the translation

S(3,2)------->S'(3-6,2+7)

S(3,2)------->S'(-3,9)

therefore

the answer is

The coordinates of point
S'(-3,9)
