The eukaryotic cell contains the nucleus and membrane bound organelles, whereas the prokaryotic cell lacks a membrane bound nucleus and membrane bound organelles. The part where prokaryotes store their genetic information is called the nucleoid. The eukaryotes include the animals, plants, protists and fungi. Hope this answer helps.
