We know that the density of an object is its mass per unit volume.
Therefore
density = mass / volume
8 = 80 / v
v = 10 cm³

Density is defined as " the ratio of mass of the substance to its volume ". i.e.
d = m/v ------------------------ (1)
volume of the steel sample is required, so putting mass of the steel sample and its density in equation (1),
8 = 80 / v
It implies that,
v = 80 / 8
v = 10 cm^3
