The Sixth Ammendment ensures a citizens right to a speedy and public trail by an impartial jury as well as the right to an attorney and the right to confront the witnesses making accusations. All of the rights contained in the Sixth Amendment ensure that citizens are not treated unfairly by the justice system and have a fair chance at defending themselves against charges of a crime.
