The Prime Factorization of 104 is 2^3*13.
Let's start by drawing a factor tree. We ask ourselves: What is 104 divided by 2? So we put 2 on one side and 52 on the other. We circle the 2 since it is a prime number and then we ask ourselves once again, what is 52 divided by 2? We put 2 on one side and 26 on the other. We ask ourselves again what 26 divided by is. We put 2 on one side and 13 on the other. SO, we get 2^3*13.
