Answer: Hibernation

Step-by-step explanation:

Hibernation can be defined as the phenomenon by which the animals rest for a longer period of time almost a complete season. This is done in order to save the energy when the food is not available.

To save energy the an endothermic animal decreases its metabolic rate in order to save energy. It also decreases its body temperature.

The animals do not move from one place to another. They do not even eat food. They shut down their body for some time.
