Kinoos is a brave old man. Kinoos was never afraid when he encountered a hated Russian folk. No matter how far they fled, there was always a hated Russian folk, and Kinoos was never afraid. Also the passage says that Kinoos stood up and said that he would show the way when there came a ship. This shows leadership, as well as bravery.
