Conjugation
In the method of conjugation, two organisms of similar species develop a transient connection in order to transfer their nuclear material or transport their content effectively to others or they fuse into one individual organism.
In the case of ciliated protozoa, sexual reproduction germinates through conjugation. The two cooperative mating efforts only can represent through conjugation which indicates a protozoan can mate with fungi, bacteria or algae.
