How do you think Vietnam veterans were changed by their experiences in Vietnam?

I think that it varies by individual, just like with any other experiences in life..... Trying to come up with a "one size fits all" generality is absurd. - Not all Vietnam Vets were in combat, some spent their time there doing administrative duties or logistics (supply) and were no where near the fighting. Their experiences would have been far different than a POW like John McCain at the Hanoi Hilton.

Vietnam veterans were changed by their experiences in Vietnam. I think the changes are mostly psychological. While some veterans wrote their experiences to educate the nation. Thank you for posting your question. I hope this answer helped you. Let me know if you need more help.
