The correct answer of the given question above would be option B. The set of numbers that is the most reasonable to describe a person's hat size is the use of whole numbers only. Whole numbers are all positive numbers starting from 0. Integers, irrational and rational numbers contain negative numbers and therefore, they are not reasonable to describe someone's size because negative sizes do not exist.
